TYPES OF PORTRAITS
FINE ART PORTRAITS
My Fine Art Portraits are designed to capture the essence of your horse, the one who embodies your dreams, devotion, and has influenced your life in countless ways. I’ll showcase your horse’s build and beauty through classic poses, but will also aim to bring out their natural expressions and unique personality.
STYLE OF PHOTOGRAPHY: Your horse (and you if you choose) will be photographed in a Fine Art style in a studio setting. I use a mixture of natural light and sometimes add artificial lighting if need be. The backgrounds are generally black, white or a textured style to suit your horse.
HORSE & RIDER PORTRAITS
The bond between Horse & Rider is something truly special and rare, something that deserves to be cherished and preserved for a lifetime. Your bond with your horse is truly unique and that’s where I come in. I’ll capture this chapter of your equestrian story in a truly intimate and meaningful way.
STYLE OF PHOTOGRAPHY: You and your horse will be photographed in your chosen location. I will use natural light only and will choose 3 area’s to concentrate on within your location (if there’s availability). I will guide you both through every step and assist you with posing so you won’t feel awkward.

We'll discuss your vision for your shoot. I'll answer all of your questions and I'll make sure that you're prepared for your shoot.
PHOTO SHOOT
I'll ensure that your photoshoot goes smoothly and is a fun & creative experience. I've been know to make people laugh too.
ARTWORK
Seeing your images for the first time will be an incredible experience. 2-4 weeks after your shoot we'll meet for your big Reveal!

Armed with the information from your planning call, together we’ll set about to create stunning images celebrating the beauty and bond with your horse. As your photographer, I will ensure to make the shoot run as smoothly as possible in a fun and creative atmosphere. And I might make you laugh a bit too…

ARTWORK
Within 2 to 4 weeks after your Photo Shoot, I’ll deliver your personal online gallery to you so you can view your portraits for the first time in a cinematic slideshow. You’ll be able to purchase your artwork from within your gallery and it will be delivered to your doorstep!

Can I use my portraits for stud and sale promotion?
Fine Art and Horse & Rider Portraits are for personal use only.
BUT , here’s the good news…I have a dedicated shoot called Stud & Sales for exactly this purpose. You can find more information and pricing HERE
what if the weather is horrible?
In the days leading up to your photo shoot, I keep an eagle eye on the weather. If the weather isn’t great, I’ll organise a reschedule for you. Whilst this is a bit of a pain, it’s important to have the best images for your business.
DO YOU TrAVEL NZ WIDE?
Love me a good road trip! Yes absolutely. Please get in contact if you’d like me to visit your area.

do you offer hair & make up?
Absolutely! If you’re anything like me and hair and make up isn’t your thing, we have the artist for you! She is absolutely fabulous and will be on site for the entire shoot to make sure you are looking your best!
CAN I PRINT FROM DIGITALS?
Absolutely!
Please keep in mind that the artwork that I create is printed on archival paper using archival inks. I do not have control over the quality that retailers offer.
